The first complete MAYA THE BEE 3D Trailer is online and showing in cinemas. After 2 years of extensive work, we are looking very much forward to the german premiere on september 11th, 2014.
Together with Atelier Brückner we created various story-telling Clips for the artistic product presentation of Kusch + Co at Superstudio Più during the Milan Design Week 2012.
After already winning the silver “ADAM Award” and the “iF communication design award”, Kusch+Co now takes home the much coveted “German Design Award” in the category “Architecture and Interior Design”, which also makes us very proud.
In April 2012 KUSCH+CO (an independent, medium-sized, family-owned business primarily designing and manufacturing chairs // http://www.kusch.com/) made their appearance at the „Temporary Museum for New Design 2012“ at Superstudio Piu in Milan.
The museum’s underlying theme is „Telling a story“, which is exactly what we did together with Atelier Brückner: short and tongue-in-cheek stories, all build around and featuring the product line of KUSCH+CO.
We produced an image film for our client METRO GROUP and agency LIQUID CAMPAIGN for METRO's own RIOBA brand: focused on exclusive bars and cafés. RIOBA offers complete business solutions, ranging from fresh coffee and cocktail syrups to matching cups, glasses and napkins… which had to be explained in an elegant and simple way.
We got the chance to do some traditional VFX feature work for the german/swiss co-production „Escape from Tibet“, which hit cinemas in june 2012.
Postproduction of 114 VFX-shots in 8 weeks. Setextensions, retouching, green-screen-keyings... a neat collection of compositing standards, that allow our artists to play with and advance their skills. - Keeps them fit and makes the client happy!
After almost 2 years of work we are proud to show a few flicks of the more than 50 minutes of different films we produced for our fellow clients at MERCEDES-BENZ TRUCKS.
We took part in one of the most challenging rollouts that there is in transportation automotive: THE NEW ACTROS.

Together with the agency WIRE SüDEN, we produced this viral for the local football club STUTTGARTER KICKERS. The task was to generate as many referees as possible, since every club has to submit a certain amount of them to the german football association.
Young talent is indeed important to us. Christoph Horch is a newcomer director and he directs his first animated short outside the Institute of Animation in Ludwigsburg under our wing! Character design and test phases have come to an end and we are now starting the production phase.
Last week we shot a tv-spot for our client: Brügelmann/ Internetstores AG in Berlin. Tom Traber directed the ad for the product: www.bruegelmann.de, which is the biggest online bicycle shop in Germany - airing on 22.4.2011. Grischa Schmitz photographed the beautiful shots and the spot was then post produced in Stuttgart.
At the FMX fair we will attend the APD to pitch and find partners for our motion picture “The Aquas” (WIP).
We are proud to host the annual Int'l Trickfilm Festival party for the winners of THE 48H ANIMATION JAM. Turntables will spun by swabian 50/50 alias Andreas Vogel and eye candy will be provided by SFA. Since XXX we have been hosting this event and we are more than happy to have gained the confidence of the ITFS for X years.
Together with Traffix Entertainment we are recruiting our team for the feature production „Rusty Knight" (GER.: Ritter Rost) @ FMX all day on May 4th. We are looking for artists with a range of experience and skills to cover modeling, CG animation, TD, shading, lighting and rendering. Also we are looking for nuke and after effects artists. Production start: 16.5.2011 – July 2012
Producer Alexander Lukowitz started his work as a reaseach associate at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg on the 1st of February. This uni has a reasearch mission with the special interest to find out how Online Television 2.0. works for and with users. Alexander's main occupation will be to develop fictional online broadcasting formats and test them live on the market. In cooperation with different companies it will be possible to fund and create new online formats and analyse those experimental moves.
